Seasonal Accents

about us

At Seasonal Accents, our intention is to benefit you, your community and the natural environment. We've made a conscious decision to create natural displays for your enjoyment.

By using as many locally sourced, all-natural decorations as possible, we're able to offer a sustainable alternative to traditional decorating. Through our clean up service, we ensure that every item is appropriately composted, recycled or reused.

Our goal is to ensure that temporary seasonal display won't have permanent consequences.

Jennifer Morrison

Sustainability Specialist

After attending Fleming College for Ecosystems Management, Jennifer took her skillset abroad. While working in New Zealand and Australia, Jennifer had the opportunity to work in the farming and orchard management industries. She's no stranger to Canadian landscapes either. Having planted over 200,000 trees in Northern Ontario, Saskatchewan and Manitoba, Jennifer is well-versed in the world of sustainability.

Aside from her experience in ecosystems management, Jennifer also brings a passion for creative expression. In her free time, you'll often find Jennifer perfecting her hoop dance skill, knitting or building her current project: a tiny home!

Meet The Team

Heather Morrison

Logistics Engineer

After growing up with a love of horses, it was only fitting that Heather would later graduate from the University of Guelph with diplomas in Equine Agriculture and Agriculture. Heather's career led her into the road construction industry where she spent 11 years as an equipment operator, dispatcher and lead hand on major Ministry of Transportation of Ontario projects.

Heather is an accomplished Equestrian with a number of recognitions from U.S. and Canadian Arabian horse competitions. She even had the opportunity to work with the Royal Mews in Buckingham Palace.

In 2010, Heather purchased her own farm, Morstar Equine. Here she stays busy taking care of the ponies, chickens and sharing her love of farm life with her daughter, Bronwyn.

Kayla McDonald

Sales & Marketing Director

Kayla is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. After graduation, Kayla's entrepreneurial spirit led her into the world of marketing where she began as a freelance copywriter. Kayla later transitioned into eCommerce and social media marketing. With a passion for helping local business, Kayla jumped at the opportunity to launch Seasonal Accents.

Kayla's desire for new opportunities goes well beyond her work portfolio. She jumps at the chance to travel to new places. At home, you'll find her hanging out with her 3 dogs or nursing her former "black thumb" by perfecting her gardening skills.
